Skills & Tools: Strong communication, adaptability, and relationship-building abilities with proficiency in medical documentation and coordination. Ability to thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments while managing multiple athletic teams and healthcare professionals.
Qualifications: Must hold current Athletic Trainer certification (BOC) and appropriate state licensure. Experience in collegiate or university athletics settings preferred.

Your primary focus will be the daily medical coverage, injury prevention, assessment, rehabilitation, and return-to-play planning for athletes within the university's athletics system. You'll act as a liaison between players, coaches, and healthcare professionals to ensure the health, safety, and well-being of athletes.
Additional duties include:
Managing medical documentation and injury tracking.
Coordinating with UK HealthCare's physicians and rehabilitation specialists for athlete referrals. Assisting with emergency planning and response protocols at training and match facilities. Promoting education and awareness regarding injury prevention and performance optimization. Supporting event coverage and medical operations for events and teams as needed.
