Key Responsibilities: Deliver athletic training services to collegiate athletes in Stunt and Football, collaborate with coaches on injury prevention and management strategies, monitor training materials, and provide clerical support to the UK Athletics Department.
Skills & Tools: Strong clinical knowledge of musculoskeletal injury assessment and treatment, athletic training certification eligibility, familiarity with NCAA and SEC regulations, organizational and communication abilities, and capability to work collaboratively with coaching staff and medical teams.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required with eligibility for graduate school admission to UK College of Health Sciences. Must achieve athletic certification and state licensure within 90 days of hire date; prior athletic training experience or internship preferred.

Job Description
The University of Kentucky Athletics Department, in conjunction with the College of Health Sciences is looking for an individual to provide athletic training services to collegiate student athletes participating in Stunt and UK Football while completing courses to to earn a graduate certificate in Musculoskeletal Injury Management. This is a two-year fellowship program. This athletic trainer will also work with coaches on implementation of strategies, monitor materials, and provide clerical support to the UK Athletic Department.
Must meet minimum requirements for UK College of Health Sciences Graduate School.
Must be able to comply with all SEC, University and NCAA rules and regulations.
Athletic Certification State Licensure Eligible within 90 days from hire date.
This position will start 7-1-26 and end 6-30-28
