Strong attention to detail and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Qualifications: 3+ years of experience developing accessible, responsive, and standards-compliant web applications with demonstrated expertise in accessibility remediation and compliance validation. Experience with PDF accessibility, ARIA roles, keyboard accessibility, and semantic HTML structure.

Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is ₹6,00,000 – ₹10,00,000/year based on title, seniority, and location.

Job Description

Front-End Accessibility Developer (WCAG Remediation) | Contract | 3–6 Years Experience

Position type: Contract

Location: Onsite - Noida, India (open to India-based candidates only)

We’re identifying experienced Front-End Accessibility Developers to support remediation of existing HTML-based web content and components to meet WCAG 2.1 AA standards. This is a hands-on role focused on fixing accessibility issues at the code and DOM level, not audit or strategy work.

What you’ll do

  • Remediate HTML5 and static web content using existing templates and component structures

  • Identify and resolve accessibility issues related to semantic markup, ARIA, keyboard navigation, focus management, and color contrast

  • Debug and fix interaction and behavior issues at the DOM level using JavaScript and jQuery

  • Perform accessibility validation using tools such as Axe, WAVE, NVDA, and JAWS, along with manual testing

  • Work within defined workflows to deliver consistent, compliant outputs at scale

  • Collaborate with QA and stakeholders to ensure quality and completeness

  • Guide junior developers on accessibility best practices and review their work as needed

  • Document remediation approaches and maintain clear records of changes
