Summary

Entry-level Events Marketing Coordinator role supporting event planning and execution for a SaaS company. Responsible for coordinating logistics, managing vendors, tracking budgets, and ensuring successful on-site execution of industry events.

Key Responsibilities: Coordinate event sponsorships and conferences from contracts through on-site execution, manage vendor relationships, track budgets and ROI, and assist with pre-event logistics including vendor communication and collateral production. Support team with event calendars, checklists, and post-event reporting while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Skills & Tools: Strong organizational and project management abilities with meticulous attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and proficiency in Google Workspace and basic project management tools. Experience with vendor coordination, budget management, and enthusiasm for learning B2B event marketing.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or relevant event coordination/internship experience preferred; prior experience coordinating events, trade shows, or managing shipping logistics is a plus. No strict minimum experience required for this entry-level position.
Location: Hybrid in Atlanta, Georgia (Grant Park or Alpharetta location); in-office two times per week

Incident IQ is looking for an Events Marketing Coordinator to support our growing event marketing efforts. This entry-level role is perfect for someone eager to build a career in event planning and marketing execution within a fast-paced SaaS environment.

As part of the Marketing team, you’ll help plan and execute industry tradeshows, conferences, and field events that elevate our brand and generate pipeline. From coordinating logistics and managing vendors to preparing materials and tracking budgets, you’ll play a key role in bringing our events to life.You’ll work in close partnership with cross-functional teams to ensure every event meets our high standards of organization, execution, and impact. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-driven, and ready to learn the ins and outs of B2B event marketing.

This is a hybrid position based in Atlanta, with in-office work expected two times a week (Grant Park or Alpharetta location).

Role Responsibilities:

Event Planning & Execution

  • Coordinate all aspects of event sponsorships and conference participation—from contracts to travel to booth logistics.
  • Assist with pre-event logistics including vendor communication, promotional item procurement, collateral production, and shipping.
  • Support on-site execution by organizing staffing, travel details, and booth readiness.

Budget & ROI Management

  • Track individual event budgets with the goal of delivering high-quality leads while maximizing ROI.
  • Assist in post-event reporting and lead follow-up processes.

Vendor & Partner Coordination

  • Manage relationships with external vendors including venues, caterers, and exhibit service providers.
  • Negotiate costs and ensure services meet expectations and deadlines.

Team Support

  • Assist other field and regional marketing events as needed.
  • Maintain shared event calendars, checklists, and documentation to keep the team on track and organized.
