Summary

The People Data Analyst leverages workforce data to drive strategic HR decisions across the employee lifecycle, from recruitment through retention. This role combines analytical expertise with deep understanding of organizational dynamics to build a data-driven, inclusive culture.

Key Responsibilities: Partner with HR and business leaders to analyze workforce trends, employee engagement, and organizational metrics while designing dashboards in Power BI or Tableau. Support strategic HR initiatives through data storytelling, predictive modeling, and actionable insights on hiring, attrition, mobility, and employee sentiment.
Skills & Tools: Advanced proficiency in Excel, Power BI/Tableau, SQL, Python/R, and HCM platforms (preferably Workday); expertise in statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling. Strong communication skills to translate complex data insights into actionable recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in data science, analytics, business, or related field with 3-5 years of experience in people analytics or HR data analysis. Demonstrated experience with workforce analytics, HRIS systems, and self-service reporting solutions.

Compensation: ₹600K–₹1M/yr (estimated)

Summary: The People Data Analyst role will leverage data to uncover insights that drive people decisions across the employee lifecycle—from hiring and engagement to performance and retention. The position will work closely with HR and business leaders to analyze trends, build dashboards, and provide evidence-based recommendations that support a high-performing, inclusive, and data-driven culture. This role combines strong analytical capabilities with a deep understanding of people and organizational dynamics. Essential duties/responsibilities: Partner with HR leaders, business leaders, and technology teams to align analytics with organizational goals and to deliver actionable insights on talent trends, organizational structure, and span-of-control to support data-driven decisions. Conduct analysis on workforce trends, including headcount, hiring, attrition, internal mobility, to support operational planning and business reviews. Analyze employee survey & other employee sentiment data (e.g., engagement, onboarding) to uncover patterns and make recommendations. Collaborate with Total Rewards, TA, and L&D to establish and track key performance metrics. Design and build dashboards and reports in tools like Power BI or Tableau to visualize key workforce and people metrics. Support strategic HR initiatives in addressing key workforce challenges through data storytelling, predictive modeling, and advanced data analysis. Ensure data integrity and governance across HR systems; collaborate with HRIS and IT for reporting needs and system alignment. Skills & Competencies: Strong analytical and critical thinking and innovative problem-solving ability. Expertise in tools like Excel, Power BI, etc. and advanced programming skills (e.g. Python, R, SQL) as well as HCM platforms (preferably Workday). Ability to design dashboards and visualization that convey complex insight clearly. Experience with creating self service reporting solutions for stakeholders. Experience in statistical analysis, data mining, and predictive modeling. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations and to present findings to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment Passion for improving employee experience and business outcomes through data. Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Analytics, Data Science, HR, or related field. 5 years in data analytics roles, with a focus on workforce or organizational data.
