Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $110,000 - $160,000.
Your Role
We’re looking for a Senior Quality Assurance Manager to drive the development of world-class software products used by athletes and fans around the world. In this role, you’ll lead the software quality team responsible for the end-to-end experience and capabilities of our Hudl Focus camera product family.These products provide customers with seamless, real-time access to video and performance insights.
You’ll play a key role in ensuring high-quality software across the entire stack—including on-device applications, cloud services, and mobile apps—by working closely with cross-functional squads to deliver reliable and innovative solutions.
In this role you will focus on:
- Improving quality. You’ll improve how we build—boosting quality, speeding up delivery, and tracking results along the way. You’ll guide teams in making smart decisions, staying current with best practices, and using that knowledge to boost quality and velocity.
- Coaching. You'll use your technical and quality understanding to guide others to level up their skills. As the point person for product quality, you’ll influence and challenge teams to incorporate quality best practices.
- Automation Strategy & Execution: Own and evolve the test automation strategy to align with the pace of development. You’ll make informed decisions on what to automate, how to approach it, and when to implement it—balancing speed, coverage, and maintainability.
We’re looking to hire near our offices in Omaha and Lincoln, Nebraska, but we’ll consider remote candidates in Kansas City, Chicago, Austin or Dallas.

- Drive technical excellence. You’ll guide your team in developing robust, scalable automation frameworks and quality solutions across the product ecosystem. Your technical expertise will be crucial for identifying gaps, solving complex challenges, and integrating quality throughout the development lifecycle. You’ll champion engineering best practices, ensure testability, and enable faster, more reliable delivery through intelligent automation and data-driven insights.
- A customer focus. You think critically about user experience and ensure our testing approach adapts to customer workflows.
- Team leadership & development. You’re a proven people leader. You have managed direct reports through hiring, onboarding, performance evaluation and fostered team growth. Demonstrated leadership experience includes the ability to mentor and elevate the skills of individuals within a team.
Nice-to-Haves
- A working knowledge of U.S. sports. A general understanding of sports like basketball and American football are a plus.
- Domain knowledge in hardware: Experience working with or alongside hardware teams—whether in product development, integration, or testing—to bridge software and hardware requirements effectively.
