Role Snapshot

Senior trades/utilities worker responsible for skilled repair and maintenance of mechanical, structural, electrical, and plumbing systems across university buildings and grounds. Designated as essential personnel required during emergency closings.

Key Responsibilities: Perform skilled repair and maintenance tasks on mechanical, structural, electrical, and plumbing components of assigned buildings and grounds as directed by the maintenance supervisor. Respond to maintenance issues and support emergency operations during facility closures.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency in multiple trades including mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and structural repair work. Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a maintenance team.
Qualifications: Proven experience in skilled trades work with demonstrated expertise in at least two or more of the following areas: mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or structural systems. High school diploma or equivalent with relevant trade certifications or apprenticeship completion preferred.
Location: In-Person
Compensation: $55K–$75K/yr (estimated)

MULTIPLE POSITIONS WILL BE FILLED FROM THIS RECRUITMENT
To perform skilled repair and maintenance tasks, as assigned by the maintenance supervisor, in maintaining the mechanical, structural, electrical and plumbing components of the assigned building and grounds. Position is designated “essential personnel” for emergency closings.
