Summary

The Academic Technology Professional enhances teaching and learning at CU Boulder by leading technology evaluations, pilot projects, and assessments to support strategic decision-making. This role collaborates with campus constituents to advance student success through innovative academic technology initiatives.

Key Responsibilities: Lead and participate in technology evaluations and pilots to address teaching and learning challenges, conduct data assessments to inform strategic decisions, and coordinate with campus groups on educational technology features and limitations. Participate in strategic initiatives and communicate academic technology options and limitations to faculty and academic partners.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency in academic technologies and experience coordinating technology initiatives with faculty or academic partners. Strong project coordination, data analysis, and communication skills for working across campus constituencies.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and three years of professionally relevant experience in higher education, including at least one year coordinating with faculty on teaching and learning technologies. Experience participating in or leading academic technology projects or initiatives required.

The University of Colorado Boulder's Office of Information Technology encourages applications for an Academic Technology Professional (ATP)! This role is a key member of the Academic Technology and Student Success group in OIT. ATPs lead and participate in technology evaluations and pilots that leverage available and emerging tools to tackle sophisticated teaching and learning problems. In partnership with campus constituents, and in alignment with campus priorities, members of the Academic Technology Initiatives (ATI) group also conduct assessments where they collect, analyze, and share data to help advise strategic decisions. Additionally, ATPs participate in strategic and innovative academic technology and campus initiatives to advance student success and teaching at CU Boulder. They coordinate with campus groups on educational technology features, options, and limitations.

The annual salary range is $72,930 - $82,055.
