Summary
Program Manager at WorldStrides guides students through their study abroad journey from application to departure, providing comprehensive support and advising for international education programs. The role is essential to ensuring a smooth and informed experience for students, families, and university partners.
Key Responsibilities: Advise students on academics, visas, housing, budgeting, and cultural preparation while managing program operations including course selection, documentation review, and pre-departure materials. Communicate professionally with families and university partners, track enrollment metrics, and support recruitment efforts through optional domestic travel.
Skills & Tools: Excellent written and oral communication skills, strong critical thinking, and ability to work calmly under pressure are essential. Detail-oriented organizational abilities, intercultural communication skills, and a service-oriented approach to student support are required.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required with 1-3 years of professional experience preferred in student advising, customer service, or administrative roles. Valid passport and experience living, studying, or working abroad are preferred.
Location: Hybrid in Austin, Texas, United States
Compensation: $55,000 – $85,000/year
