Handshake is seeking experienced Rhino 3D users for a flexible, project-based role to assist in AI research through evaluating AI-generated 3D modeling content. This remote contract position is ideal for those with a background in industrial design or product modeling.

Responsibilities: Evaluate AI-generated content related to 3D modeling and industrial design, create tool-related questions, and review responses for accuracy and relevance.

Skills: Proficiency in Rhino 3D, strong written communication skills, attention to detail, and an understanding of NURBS modeling and industrial design concepts.

Qualifications: Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience with Rhino 3D, and a working knowledge of 3D geometry workflows.

Location: Fully remote; work from anywhere within the United States.

Compensation: $125 - $125 / Hourly

Opportunity Overview

Handshake is looking for skilled Rhino 3D users to support AI research through flexible, hourly contract work. This is not a traditional job. You'll draw on your hands-on experience with NURBS-based 3D modeling, product design, or complex freeform geometry to evaluate AI-generated content and provide feedback that helps AI better understand 3D modeling tasks and industrial design workflows.

This is an ongoing, project-based opportunity you can take on alongside anything else you have going on.

Who This Is For

This is a good fit if you're an experienced Rhino 3D user who has worked in or around roles like:

• Industrial Designer or Product Designer
• Computational Designer or Fabrication Specialist
• Jewelry Designer or Automotive Designer

You should have solid experience with one or more of the following:

• NURBS-based 3D modeling, industrial design, or complex freeform geometry using Rhino 3D
• Product prototyping, fabrication workflows, or consumer product design
• Annotating or labeling 3D models and design assets
• Reviewing 3D models for accuracy, geometric integrity, or design consistency

What You'll Do

You'll use your experience with Rhino 3D to create tool-related questions and review AI-generated responses for accuracy and relevance to real-world industrial design and 3D modeling workflows.

No prior AI or technical experience is required.

Qualifications

We're looking for people who have:

• At least 3+ years of hands-on experience with Rhino 3D, whether through professional work or freelance projects
• A working knowledge of NURBS modeling, industrial design concepts, and 3D geometry workflows
• Strong written communication skills and attention to detail
• The ability to work independently and follow written guidelines

Work Model and Project Details

• Status: Independent contractor (not a full-time employee role)
• Location: Fully remote; work from anywhere with a reliable internet connection and access to a desktop or laptop computer
• Schedule: Flexible and asynchronous, with no minimum hour requirement. Many contributors work approximately 5–20 hours per week when assigned to an active project
• Duration: The Handshake AI program runs year-round, with projects opening periodically across different areas of expertise. Placement depends on current project needs, with opportunities to be considered for future projects as they become available
