Senior Network Engineer responsible for providing advanced technical support and management of enterprise wired and wireless networks at a major university. Role focuses on layer 3 routing, campus network architecture with EVPN, cloud routing environments, and AI-driven wireless infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain enterprise routing infrastructure including layer 3 campus networks, EVPN-based architectures, and cloud routing in Azure and AWS environments. Manage and optimize AI-driven wireless networks while providing senior-level technical support across the university's network infrastructure.
Skills & Tools: Advanced expertise in layer 3 routing, EVPN, Azure and AWS cloud networking, and wireless network management with AI integration. Strong problem-solving abilities, technical documentation skills, and commitment to community principles and collaborative teamwork.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field with 7+ years of enterprise network engineering experience; demonstrated expertise in routing protocols, cloud platforms, and large-scale network environments required.
Location: In-Person
Compensation: $140K–$185K/yr (estimated)

Job Description

The Senior Network Engineer provides senior level technical support of wired and wireless enterprise network with a focus on layer 3 routing, routing in the campus network environment with a focus on EVPN. Routing in cloud environments such as Azure and AWS (Amazon Web Services). Manage AI driven wireless networks. The candidate will also embrace the organization’s Principles of Community.
