The opportunity:

We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Office and Employee Experience Manager to oversee the daily operations of our New York City office. This role is pivotal in ensuring a productive, engaging, and seamless environment for both employees and visitors. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing office facilities, enhancing employee experiences, supporting onboarding processes, and addressing basic IT and device management needs.

This role reports into the VP, People.

What you'll do:

  • Facility Management: Ensure our office is a well-maintained, safe, and productive workspace. Oversee office maintenance, liaise with building management and external vendors, and manage supplies and equipment.
  • Employee Onboarding: Partner with People Operations and Talent Acquisition to ensure a seamless onboarding experience for new hires. Prepare workstations, coordinate office tours, and support orientation logistics to set new employees up for success.
  • IT Support & Coordination: Support in-office IT needs, including employee device setup and troubleshooting. Partner with our third-party IT provider to manage hardware, software, and network-related requests efficiently.
  • Employee Experience & Engagement: Enhance workplace culture by coordinating office events, team-building activities, and engagement initiatives. Be a go-to resource for employees to help improve their day-to-day office experience.
  • Office Management & Administrative Support: Maintain an organized, high-functioning office environment by handling administrative tasks such as scheduling, office supply inventory, and vendor coordination.

What you'll bring:

  • Experience in office management, employee experience, workplace operations, or a related role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a hospitality mindset in delivering outstanding experiences for employees and guests.
  • Ability to proactively identify and solve problems in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic technical proficiency, with the ability to troubleshoot common IT issues and coordinate with external IT providers.
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

Bonus points if:

  • You have previous experience in EdTech or HealthTech

The target base salary range for this opportunity is $70,000 - $100,000, and is part of a competitive total rewards package including equity and benefits. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by a number of factors including experience, internal pay equity and other relevant business considerations.

Please note we do not have a bonus structure at this time so all cash compensation will come in the form of base salary. The total compensation package will also include our benefits package and an equity (ISOs) package.
