Summary

Join Elsevier as a Sales Executive to promote nursing educational products and digital solutions to higher education institutions across a designated territory. This fully remote role combines consultative selling with product expertise to drive adoption and customer success in the higher education sector.

Key Responsibilities: Develop sales in assigned territory through customer engagement, presentations, and training on nursing curriculum materials and Elsevier's digital products (HESI, Sherpath, Adaptive Quizzing, Simulations). Act as a trusted advisor to higher education professionals, drive solution implementation and adoption, and manage sales pipeline using Salesforce.
Skills & Tools: Proven B2B sales experience in technology, healthcare, or publishing with excellent communication and presentation skills. Demonstrated ability in consultative selling, customer engagement, and successful customer adoption, with track record of sales success.
Qualifications: Required: experience in consultative sales within higher education or technology sectors, valid driver's license with good driving record. Preferred: background in higher education or technology sales.
Location: Remote (must reside within designated territory in Washington; serves Arizona, Southern Nevada, and Western Texas)
Compensation: $61,400 – $102,300/year

About the Role

As a Sales Executive you will promote nursing curriculum materials and electronic products to nursing health professional and higher education institutions. You will utilize solution based selling techniques to demonstrate the full value of Elsevier's digital products including Hesi, Sherpath, Adaptive Quizzing, Simulations and ebooks/books. This sales role is fully remote and virtual. You will have assigned accounts with established customers as well as new account leads. The territory serves customers in Arizona, S. NV and W. Texas. Candidates must reside within the territory.

Responsibilities

  • Developing sales in assigned territory, including customer service, sales presentations, negotiation and training on both print and digital products
  • Driving successful implementation and adoption of the solution portfolio for the customers in your territory.
  • Acting as a trusted advisor to Higher Education and C-suite professionals. Providing in-depth product training, support and guidance directly aligned to the curriculum.
  • Creating and delivering compelling presentations on Elsevier’s suite of products and how they can create the a robust classroom experience.
  • Tracking sales pipeline, leads, and sales cycle using Salesforce.com

Requirements

  • Demonstrate experience with sales in technology, higher education or healthcare/publishing
  • Possess a proven track record of B2B sales success
  • Possess excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrate a track record of successful customer engagement and driving customer adoption
  • Possess a valid driver's license with a good driving record are required (Motor vehicle check required).
  • Live within designated territory

The salary range provided in this posting is the base salary range for Washington:$61,400.00 - $102,300.00This is a sales job which may be eligible for a sales incentive or commission plan.
