Summary

Aceable seeks a founding Account Executive to build and lead their new B2B sales team, owning the full sales cycle and shaping go-to-market strategies for a high-potential education technology segment.

Qualifications: Required experience with SaaS or edtech products and demonstrated ability to close deals and exceed targets; bonus qualifications include experience selling to education institutions, government agencies, or insurance brokerages and a passion for mission-driven learning products.

ABOUT THIS POSITION

Aceable is building a new B2B Sales team and we’re looking for a founding Account Executive who is eager to shape our go-to-market motion. You’ll close deals, test strategies, and build the playbook for long-term success.

You’ll report to our Manager, Sales and focus on a transactional sales cycle while we validate product-market fit in a high-potential new segment. This is a highly entrepreneurial role that requires creativity, adaptability, and initiative. WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Own the full sales cycle from prospecting through close for B2B accounts 
  • Drive outbound prospecting via phone and email to generate qualified pipeline 
  • Co-create and execute full cycle sales strategies to surpass targets
  • Identify and engage new markets, test messaging, and iterate based on feedback/reporting
  • Educate potential customers on our value proposition, and align our solutions to their needs
  • Build and document repeatable sales processes to inform future hires and scale the team
  • Regularly report performance metrics and share feedback to inform product development
  • Maintain data accuracy of customer information in the CRM system to ensure proper reporting and analytics
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams to align strategy
  • Own your pipeline and proactively solve challenges in a rapidly evolving environment

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • 3+ years of B2B sales experience (ideally with SaaS or edtech products)
  • Demonstrated ability to close deals and exceed targets without a fixed script or roadmap
  • Clear and effective communication with the ability to articulate and present verbally and in writing
  • Creative approach to uncovering and reaching new customer segments
  • Comfort working in ambiguity and iterating quickly
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms (HubSpot or Salesforce preferred)
  • Excellent active listening and consultative selling
  • Reside in the Austin metro area
