Summary

The Microsoft Surface Partner Specialist supports CDW Account Managers by executing partner programs and educating them on technology offerings to enhance partner profitability and achieve revenue goals. This is the first level of support role with direct daily contact with the sales force.

Key Responsibilities: Serve as a point of contact for Account Managers on technical and program questions, leverage CDW systems to assist with customer solutions, and identify ways to increase partner profitability through program utilization. Track sales interactions monthly, educate Account Managers on products and resources, and work cross-functionally to strengthen customer and partner relationships.
Skills & Tools: Strong communication and presentation skills, passion for learning and teaching, motivated self-starter with creative problem-solving abilities, and ability to multi-task and organize priorities. Experience in technology sales or marketing preferred with ability to understand and apply technical instructions and industry concepts.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or 3 years of experience in sales or marketing required. Relevant technical certifications and industry certifications preferred.
Location: Hybrid in Chicago, Illinois, United States with travel as needed for business

Job summary

The CDW Partner Specialist position is the first level of support for CDW Account Managers and/or the CDW Category Team. This role executes on partner programs and evangelizes partner offerings in terms of portfolio and solutions to Account Managers. The Specialist will have direct day-to-day contact with the sales force and is also responsible for educating Account Managers on the technologies, programs and resources available to them.

What you’ll do

  • Point of contact for Account Managers in effectively and accurately assisting with technical or program questions
  • Leverage CDW systems and processes to assist Account Managers in providing solutions to their customers
  • Identify ways to increase partner profitability through program utilization and solution selling
  • Achieve assigned revenue and profit goals that align to company objectives
  • Assist partners to execute the mutually agreed upon strategies between the partner and CDW through sales awareness activities
  • Educate Account Managers on the products and resources to help them become as self-sufficient as possible
  • Work with other departments at CDW to further relationships with customers, CDW, Partners, and Account Managers
  • Completion of monthly scorecard tracking sales interactions
  • Obtain relevant industry and/or partner certifications and attend approved outside trainings
  • Provide feedback to CDW Product Management & Purchasing concerning stocking levels and sales trends/feedback
  • Adhere to ethical and fair business practices, following the CDW Way Principles
  • Maintain effective communications with all stakeholders
  • Participate in annual performance review and talent review processes
  • Maintain expense expectations
  • Travel as needed
  • Other special projects upon request

What we expect of you

  • Bachelor’s Degree or 3 years’ experience in sales or marketing

Payrange: $20.19/hour- $27.89/hourdepending on experience and skill set

Annual bonus target of10%subject to terms and conditions of plan
