Role Snapshot

Senior Training Developer at Leidos supporting the U.S. Space Force and Air Force by designing and implementing comprehensive training solutions for mission-critical satellite communications systems. This role directly impacts national security by ensuring personnel can effectively operate complex, multi-node software and cryptographic key management systems.

Key Responsibilities: Design and develop blended-learning training programs (classroom, CBT/WBT, and instructional technologies) for complex SATCOM systems and deliver hands-on technical instruction to adult learners. Collaborate with subject-matter experts, instructors, and technical teams to create and maintain high-quality training products including courses of instruction, lesson plans, job aids, and performance support materials.

Skills & Tools: Expert in instructional systems design, blended learning methodologies, and adult education with strong technical training delivery capabilities. Proficiency in developing CBT/WBT content, working with system engineers and software developers, and analyzing complex system functionality for training adaptation.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Instructional Systems Design, Instructional Technology, or related field with minimum 12 years of training experience (or equivalent experience substituted for degree). Minimum 7 years in platform delivery design for technology-based systems and at least 3 years of recent hands-on classroom technical instruction experience.

Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado

Compensation: $105K–$190K/yr
