Summary

Senior IAMD Training Specialist at PeopleTec to develop and deliver integrated air and missile defense training programs supporting classroom, equipment, and mobile training operations. Skills & Tools: Minimum 6 years operational IAMD experience, expertise in DoD training and doctrine policies, space and missile warning knowledge, formal training and instructor experience, and proficiency in ISD/ADDIE courseware development and management structures.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or military/civilian instructor certification required; must be a U.S. citizen with current Secret-level security clearance and ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance. Desired qualifications include TRADOC, AETC, or NAVEDTRA instructor certification and experience in command center operations.
Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado
Compensation: $90,000 – $130,000/year

Job Description

Responsibilities:
PeopleTec is currently seeking a Senior IAMD Training Specialist to support our Colorado Springs, CO location.

PeopleTec is currently seeking a Senior Integrated Air and Missile Defense Training Specialist to support our Colorado Springs, CO location. Candidate will prepare training documents and services that are required to support classroom or equipment training. Candidate will obtain and maintain JBTEC instructor qualification and teach in discipline areas in which he or she has specific training and competence. When assigned, serve as a Course Manager and or Focused Area Manager, developing and maintaining appropriate courseware. Additionally, candidate will plan, lead and execute Mobile Training Team (MTT) responsibilities to locations world-wide.
Qualifications:
Required Skills/Experience:
  • Minimum of 6 years of operational IAMD experience that is applicable to the curriculum.
  • Understanding of DoD Training and Doctrine policies and issues for Joint IAMD.
  • Space and missile warning experience
  • Formal training/instructor experience
  • ISD / ADDIE structure and processes, courseware development & management
  • Travel: 10-25 %
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • Must currently hold a security clearance at the Secret level initially and be able to obtain TS/SCI. US Citizenship is a requirement for a Top Secret/SCI clearance at this location.
Education Requirements:
  • Bachelors degree or be a certified instructor from a military service or civilian institution.
Physical Job Requirements:
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged amounts of time.
  • Must be able to twist, bend and squat periodically.
Desired Skills:
  • Space, missile warning and Integrated Air and Missile Defense experience on CCMD or Joint Staff
  • Instructor certification from TRADOC, AETC or NAVEDTRA
  • Assignments in NMCC, GOC, JOC, AOC, MOC, JTAGS with Missile Warning duties
  • Familiarization in one of the following: Space or Command center operations
