Summary

District Onboarding Representative for Clever Inc.'s ed-tech platform, serving as the first touchpoint for school districts to ensure successful adoption and long-term platform success.

Key Responsibilities: Onboard school districts on the Clever platform, strategically engage assigned customer pipeline using data to drive implementation and adoption, educate district leaders on product value, overcome objections, and collaborate cross-functionally to achieve business goals.
Skills & Tools: Sales or customer success experience, strong communication abilities over phone/Zoom/email, data-driven decision making, strategic customer education and relationship building, ability to handle objections and drive adoption at scale.
Qualifications: Background in sales, customer success, or similar roles with proven success getting customers to buy into project timelines; self-motivated with ability to work in growing, changing environments and thrive in collaborative team settings.
Location: Remote (Anywhere in the United States)
Compensation: $25.00/hour (40 hours/week); $28.00/hour for candidates in NYC and San Francisco, CA. 6-month contract starting week of April 14th or April 21st, 2025.

Job Description

We are looking for a District Onboarding Representative to join our District Onboarding team. You will be the first touchpoint in the district’s Clever journey, and work to ensure full adoption and long-term success on our Clever platform. The ideal candidate will have a strong customer success background with a passion for making an impact in the ed-tech space.


You'll dive into a variety of tasks, including:

  • Successfully onboard school districts on the Clever platform
  • Use data to strategically engage assigned customer pipeline in order to drive quick implementation and full adoption 
  • Fully educate district leaders on Clever to drive full adoption of the product, often by selling districts on the value of full adoption
  • Overcome common objections district leaders give to fully adopting Clever, and challenge misconceptions about Clever that they may have 
  • Deepen relationships with Clever’s application partners
  • Advocate within Clever on the customer’s behalf
  • Collaborate closely with your team members and cross functionally to achieve business goals
  • Qualify district leads to determine customer fit

Assignment Details:

  • Duration: 6 months
  • Start date: Week of April 14th or April 21st, 2025
  • Location: Anywhere in the United States
  • Pay rate: $25/hr (40 hours a week)

SALARY TRANSPARENCY:

Compensation for this role for candidates living in the United States, besides NYC and San Francisco, CA, is $25 per hour. For candidates living in NYC and San Francisco, CA is $28 per hour
