Position Summary:
EverDriven is seeking a detail-oriented and growth-minded Staff Accountant to join our Finance team in our Greenwood Village office. This role is ideal for an early-career accounting professional who wants hands-on exposure across the full accounting cycle while contributing to a mission-driven organization.
As a Staff Accountant, you will play a critical role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting the month-end close process, and strengthening internal controls. You’ll partner cross-functionally to ensure financial data integrity while helping the organization scale efficiently. This position offers strong development opportunities, meaningful ownership, and visibility within a fast-paced, purpose-driven environment.
Salary Range: $55,000 - $70,000/year, based on experience + bonus potential
Location - Greenwood Village, CO. 4 days in the office and 1 day remote.
How You Will Make an Impact:
- Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaid expenses, and other month-end adjustments to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, proactively identifying and resolving discrepancies
- Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations with a focus on timeliness and accuracy
- Enter, review, and validate Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions to ensure completeness and compliance
- Reconcile sub-ledgers to the general ledger to maintain data integrity across systems
- Monitor outstanding receivables and collaborate with internal partners to support timely collections
- Contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, helping drive continuous improvement and efficiency
- Assist with internal and external audit preparation, including documentation and support schedules
- Partner with stakeholders across departments to ensure financial information supports data-driven decision-making
What You Will Bring to EverDriven:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced or growth-oriented environment
- Experience with general ledger accounting and reconciliations
- Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, and complex formulas
- Experience working with accounting or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (NetSuite, Sage, or similar platforms preferred)
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines with consistency
- Clear and respectful communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams
- A proactive mindset with a desire to learn, improve processes, and take ownership of your work
