Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field; MBA or CFA preferred; 8+ years of experience in FP&A with a focus on revenue; background in investment banking or consulting is a plus.
Location: Remote or hybrid flexible; main office located in McLean, VA.
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $120,000 - $180,000.

Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Director of Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) whose primary responsibilities will be to lead our Revenue Planning & Analysis function. Reporting to the VP FP&A, this high-impact role is responsible for overseeing all revenue forecasting, reporting, and strategic analysis as well as assisting with three statement modeling duties to drive sustainable and profitable growth. As a key partner to the Business and Revenue Operations, Sales and Customer Success teams you will play a critical role in optimizing revenue performance and enhancing the accuracy of forecasting overall business performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and execution of the company’s revenue forecast models, annual operating plans, and long-range plans
- Provide in-depth analysis of revenue drivers, pricing trends, customer segmentation, and business performance metrics
- Develop and maintain dashboards and KPIs to monitor top-line performance, with insights and recommendations for executive leadership
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad hoc revenue performance reports for executive team and board-level presentations
- Drive continuous improvement of revenue planning processes, tools, and systems
- Mentor and manage an analyst fostering a culture of data-driven decision-making
Desired Attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field; MBA or CFA preferred
- 8+ years of progressive experience in FP&A, with a strong focus on revenue or commercial finance and three statement modeling
- Experience in investment banking, strategy consulting or working for a PE firm, a strong a plus
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; experience with tools such as Datarails or Power BI
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and business partnering skills
- Strong executive presence with the ability to communicate complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
