Lead the strategic integration of AI tools into enterprise business workflows, driving adoption through change management, enablement, and governance to achieve measurable business impact. This is a bench consulting role for upcoming client engagements requiring experienced consultants who can deploy quickly.

Key Responsibilities: Design and execute AI adoption strategies addressing user resistance and workflow integration, develop role-specific enablement programs, build governance frameworks, and manage adoption dashboards. Partner with IT and data science teams, lead executive workshops, establish champion networks, and identify automation opportunities to optimize human + AI workflows.
Skills & Tools: Strong expertise in change management methodologies (Prosci, Kotter), ability to translate complex technical AI concepts into business-relevant narratives, and proven track record designing enablement programs for non-technical audiences. Deep understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, responsible use principles, and enterprise technology adoption outcomes.
Qualifications: 8+ years of experience in technology adoption, digital transformation, or change management with proven enterprise AI/ML adoption support (generative AI, predictive analytics, RPA). Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred; prior consulting experience essential with ability to operate independently in fast-paced client environments.

Compensation: $130K–$180K/yr (estimated)

Job Description

This role is part of our ongoing bench program for upcoming client engagements. We are proactively identifying experienced consultants who can be deployed quickly as new projects are confirmed. While this position is not tied to an immediate start, it represents a strong opportunity to be considered for upcoming work aligned with your expertise and availability.

Please note that prior consulting experience is required, as this role will involve stepping into client environments with minimal ramp-up, working independently, and delivering high-quality outcomes. Qualified candidates will be contacted as relevant projects become available.

About the Role
We are seeking an AI Adoption Strategist to lead the successful integration of AI tools into business workflows, ensuring strong adoption and measurable business impact. This role blends strategy, change management, and enablement—helping organizations move beyond experimentation to real, sustained AI-driven outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess organizational readiness for AI adoption across cultural, technical, and capability dimensions

  • Design and execute AI adoption strategies that address user resistance, workflow integration, and behavioral change

  • Develop role-specific enablement programs focused on practical AI application, not just tool functionality

  • Build AI governance frameworks, including responsible use policies, escalation paths, and human-in-the-loop protocols

  • Create and manage adoption dashboards tracking usage, proficiency, productivity impact, and business outcomes

  • Lead executive workshops on AI strategy, use case prioritization, and change leadership

  • Design communication strategies that address AI concerns, build trust, and encourage adoption

  • Partner with IT and data science teams to ensure AI solutions are deployed in ways that support real user adoption

  • Establish AI champion networks and peer learning communities to drive grassroots engagement

  • Identify automation opportunities and design human + AI workflows that optimize performance

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in technology adoption, digital transformation, or change management

  • Proven experience supporting enterprise AI/ML adoption (e.g., generative AI, predictive analytics, RPA, intelligent automation)

  • Strong understanding of AI capabilities, limitations, and responsible use principles

  • Solid foundation in change management methodologies (e.g., Prosci, Kotter, or equivalent)

  • Experience designing enablement programs for non-technical audiences

  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, business-relevant narratives

  • Demonstrated track record of driving measurable adoption outcomes in technology transformation initiatives

  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree in a relevant field preferred
