The Student Success Coordinator implements retention and success initiatives under the Director of Student Success, ensuring students and families experience a smooth transition into and through Old Dominion University.
Key Responsibilities: Coordinate student support programs and initiatives that promote retention and academic success. Facilitate smooth transition experiences for students and families entering and progressing through the university.
Skills & Tools: Strong organizational and program management abilities with excellent communication skills for working with diverse student populations and families. Demonstrated ability to implement initiatives and coordinate across departments.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required; experience in student services, higher education, or student support programs preferred. Knowledge of student retention strategies and familiarity with university systems beneficial.
Location: In-Person
Compensation: $35Kβ$48K/yr (estimated)

Under the direction and supervision of the Director of Student Success, the Student Success Coordinator is responsible for implementing student initiatives that support student retention and success. The Student Success Coordinator plays a pivotal role ensuring students and their families have a smooth and successful transition experience into and through the University.
