Summary

Join Dreamscape Learn as a People Intern to gain hands-on experience in Human Resources and people operations while supporting the HR team. This unpaid internship offers valuable exposure to recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and compliance within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities: Assist with day-to-day HR operations including employee records maintenance, onboarding new hires with orientation materials, and planning employee engagement initiatives. Conduct HR research, support performance management and training projects, and provide administrative support to the People team.
Skills & Tools: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace and ability to handle sensitive, confidential information professionally.
Qualifications: Current student or recent graduate in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or related field. Interest in pursuing a career in HR or People Operations with relevant course credit.
Location: Hybrid in Culver City, California, United States
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is $15.00 – $20.00/hour based on title, seniority, and location.

People Intern (Unpaid Internship) 

About the Role 

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented People/HR Intern to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate to gain hands-on experience in human resources and people operations while contributing to a growing organization. 

Responsibilities 

Assist with day-to-day HR operations, including maintaining employee records and organizing files 

Help onboard new hires, including preparing orientation materials and setting up systems access 

Participate in planning and executing employee engagement and culture initiatives 

Conduct research on HR best practices, policies, and compliance requirements 

Assist with performance management, training, and development projects 

Provide general administrative support to the People team 

Current student or recent graduate in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Communications, or related field 

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills 

Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism 

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace 

Interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources or People Operations 

Relevant course credit

Practical experience in multiple areas of HR and people operations 

Exposure to recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and compliance
