As our Event Manager, you’ll play a key role in bringing the ClassLink brand to life through impactful, engaging experiences that strengthen relationships, elevate our presence in the K–12 community, and support continued growth.


This role is responsible for the planning, and execution of ClassLink’s high-impact event, including conferences, trade shows, partner lounges, and customer engagements. The ideal candidate is equal parts strategic thinker and hands-on executor: someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, operates with a high level of ownership, and is passionate about delivering worthwhile experiences for prospects, clients and stakeholders.


Responsibilities

Lead End-to-End Event Execution
Manage the full lifecycle of 100+ events annually, from sponsorship negotiations and logistics planning to onsite execution and post-event follow-up. Ensure every event reflects ClassLink’s brand, values, and commitment to excellence.

Drive Strategic Impact
Align event strategy with organizational priorities, regional initiatives, and business goals to increase brand awareness, generate qualified opportunities, strengthen partnerships, and support customer engagement.

Deliver Exceptional Experiences
Create thoughtful, high-quality event experiences that foster meaningful connections with educators, district leaders, partners, and stakeholders while maintaining a consistent and professional brand presence.

Manage Budgets & Partnerships
Oversee event budgets with a focus on fiscal responsibility and measurable return on investment. Build strong relationships with venues, vendors, and production partners to ensure seamless execution and high-quality delivery.

Collaborate Across Teams
Partner closely with Marketing, Sales, Client Success, and Partner Services to coordinate messaging, event goals, customer engagement strategies, and follow-up efforts.

Measure Success & Optimize Performance
Track event performance through metrics such as attendance, lead generation, engagement, and customer feedback. Deliver post-event reporting and actionable recommendations to continuously improve results and efficiency.

Innovate & Improve
Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and creative engagement strategies to enhance the attendee experience and evolve ClassLink’s event presence year over year.

This role may require travel, including evenings and weekends, based on event schedules and business needs.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Hospitality, or a related field
  • 3–5 years of event management experience, preferably within B2B, SaaS, or education technology environments
  • Proven success managing a high volume of events and balancing multiple priorities in fast-paced, complex environments
  • Strong project management and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams
  • Experience using event management and business platforms such as Salesforce, Cvent, Monday.com, and Zoom
  • Passion for creating engaging, worthwhile experiences that strengthen relationships and elevate brand presence
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lb.
  • Willingness to travel approximately 10–15% for conferences, events, and onsite execution support

Required: Candidate must be able to come in to our Clifton, NJ office up to 2x per week.
