Summary

Bilingual Project Coordinator supporting K-8 literacy product development at Amplify Education, managing schedules and facilitating communication between internal teams and external vendors for print and digital projects.

Key Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day tasks and deliverables for print/digital projects, track progress against milestones, facilitate file handoffs, and handle vendor correspondence to ensure deadline compliance. Document risks, issues, and decisions while supporting the project management team with process improvements and administrative coordination.
Skills & Tools: Fluency in Spanish, excellent organizational and time-management abilities, strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, and understanding of project workflows and cross-functional team dependencies.
Qualifications: 2+ years of project coordination or similar experience with a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience. Preferred experience in educational publishing and stakeholder communication at varying organizational levels.

Job Description:

Amplify is seeking a bilingual project coordinator to support the development of print and digital products across our Literacy programs, including English Language Arts (ELA) and Spanish Language Arts (SLA) products. The coordinator will assist in creating and monitoring schedules primarily for content development, pre-production, and production phases. Success in this role requires providing tactical, detail-oriented support to the project management team and internal cross-functional teams, aligning with overall project goals and constraints. Additionally, the coordinator will handle day-to-day correspondence with vendor partners to ensure all parties meet deadlines. This is a stepping stone role for someone interested in a career in project management, requiring fluency in Spanish to effectively work across both ELA and SLA programs.

*This is a contract role expected to end on 5/29/2026.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day tasks and deliverables for print and/or digital projects of various sizes.
  • Understand workflows and dependencies of project components, and know the roles and responsibilities of the cross-functional teams involved.
  • Ensure project schedules are current and track progress of deliverables against key milestones.
  • Facilitate file handoffs to internal and external partners.
  • Assist the project management team with documenting risks, issues, decisions, and change management.
  • Attend relevant status meetings, take notes, and follow up on action items.
  • Review vendor estimates and invoices against the work completed.
  • Make recommendations for process improvements where appropriate.

Required Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a project coordination or similar role with a bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
  • Excellent organization and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks across multiple competing projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
  • Fluency in Spanish.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working on projects in the educational publishing industry
  • Ability to confidently communicate with stakeholders at varying levels of an organization
  • Keen interest in a career in project management

Compensation:

The hourly rate range for this role is $35 - $40.
