Summary
Business Development Manager at RTM Business Group, a professional development conferences and events company serving EdTech, Healthcare, Government, Medical, and Banking sectors. This hybrid role focuses on full-cycle sales with a structured growth path leading to Account Executive responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities: Research and identify leads, qualify prospects against company criteria, conduct daily prospecting activities (~60 emails and ~30 cold calls), pitch to C-suite decision makers, and manage pipeline from prospecting to closing while tracking KPIs.
Skills & Tools: Strong sales ability, professional communication skills, self-starter mentality, detail-oriented with accuracy commitment, proactive work under pressure, and technology competency with CRM and software applications.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree required with background in Sales, Customer Success, Marketing, or B2B events. Experience with HubSpot and/or ZoomInfo is preferred; ability to travel is necessary.
Location: Hybrid in New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut with 2-3 days per week at NYC office
Compensation: $55,000 โ $60,000/year (base); OTE of $65,000 โ $70,000 in year 1 with uncapped commission potential
