We are seeking a dedicated Paraprofessional to assist teachers with lessons and classroom activities while promoting a positive learning environment in Goodyear, Arizona.

Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include assisting teachers with lessons, managing classroom activities, maintaining safety standards, and supporting students who need additional help.

Skills: Candidates should possess organizational skills and excellent communication abilities with students and parents, as well as the desire to work collaboratively.

Qualifications: An Associate's degree or equivalent, or an approved Paraprofessional Certification is required.

Location: This position is based in Goodyear, Arizona, United States.

Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $29,000 - $40,000.

Primary duties and responsibilities (Pursuant to current Teacher Expectations and Guidelines):

• Assist teacher with lessons and daily classroom activities
• Assist teacher with paperwork such as reports
• Communicate with students and help them understand lessons
• Prepare the classroom setting to promote a healthy learning environment
• Lead club activities on Fridays
• Ensure classroom safety standards are met at all times
• Monitor students with particular attention to those identified as requiring additional support
• Engage with children to enhance learning
• Touch base with students who are not in Good Standing based on PLC and the Academic Standing Spreadsheet
• Maintain record of all academic and non-academic student intervention
• Document student interaction and outreach via the Academic Standing Spreadsheet
• Perform clerical tasks coordinated by the Operations Manager and Executive Director
• Other duties as assigned

Education/Training/Employment Requirements:

Associates of Arts or equivalent or approved Paraprofessional Certification assessment
