Summary

Lead growth initiatives at MasterClass as a Product Manager, driving user acquisition, activation, retention, and referrals through data-driven experimentation and strategic product initiatives. Partner with cross-functional teams to unlock meaningful business growth at scale.

We’re looking for a Growth Product Manager to accelerate how people discover, join, and stay engaged with MasterClass. In this role, you’ll lead initiatives that directly impact user acquisition, activation, retention, and referrals—working at the intersection of product, data, and marketing. You’ll define strategy, drive experimentation, and collaborate cross-functionally to unlock meaningful business growth. Ideal candidates have 4–6 years of experience in product management or growth roles, a strong technical and analytical foundation, and a track record of shipping impactful consumer-facing features at scale.

  • Experience designing, launching, and scaling experiments across key stages of the user lifecycle
  • Comfortable using data to drive decisions, measure success, and inform roadmap prioritization

  • Skilled at translating user insights and stakeholder feedback into clear, actionable product requirements

Responsibilities of the Role

  • Own product initiatives that drive growth across acquisition, activation, retention, and referral
  • Lead end-to-end experimentation cycles—formulating hypotheses, launching A/B tests, and scaling successful outcomes
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, marketing, analytics, and operations to define roadmaps and deliver value quickly
  • Write detailed product specs, define edge cases, and support continuous deployment workflows
  • Monitor performance and surface actionable insights to guide iteration and long-term strategy
  • Partner with marketing and lifecycle teams to align product launches with growth campaigns
  • Maintain high standards for product quality, usability, and brand consistency

Requirements

  • 4–6 years of experience in product management or growth product roles, ideally in fast-growing consumer tech companies
  • Demonstrated success optimizing key parts of the user journey with measurable business impact
  • Deep expertise with A/B testing frameworks, experimentation tools, and data-informed decision making
  • Strong understanding of consumer product UX and the ability to drive improvements through personalization, onboarding, and conversion flows
  • Experience with growth strategies that blend product and marketing, such as referrals, SEO, or lifecycle engagement
  • Clear communicator with strong execution skills and ability to influence cross-functional teams
  • Passion for storytelling, learning, and building experiences that inspire people at scale
  • Bachelor’s degree required; background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative field is a plus
