Summary

This is a 9-week paid full-time onsite internship where interns will provide technical support to Kaplan students while gaining real-world experience in desktop operations. Interns will assist with customer service inquiries, equipment management, and troubleshooting while participating in professional development workshops.

Key Responsibilities: Assist KNA Desktop Operations Technical Support Analysts with day-to-day activities including hardware/software troubleshooting, equipment setup and breakdown, inventory auditing, and customer interactions via phone and email. Perform regular equipment checks, provide on-site customer service, and report activity updates to management.
Skills & Tools: Required skills include customer service, technical troubleshooting, basic computer skills, problem-solving, adaptability, time management, and data entry abilities.
Qualifications: Must be currently enrolled as a Bachelor's degree student in Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year with no prior experience required.

Summary of the Role:

** Please note: This is a full time | paid ($15 hourly) | onsite internship in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The internship dates are: June 2nd - August 1st **

In our 9-week, and paid program, interns can expect to work with a team of Kaplan employees on day-to-day functions and projects that contribute to company-wide business initiatives. While gaining comprehensive real world experience, interns will also engage through weekly small group meetings and workshops, designed around professional development, leadership, and direct networking with leaders across Kaplan.

The KNA Internship - Desktop Operations will learn to provide exceptional customer service to Kaplan students in a courteous, knowledgeable and timely manner. The core responsibilities of this position are to assist students on the phone and over email to all of their basic technical inquiries.

Primary/Key Responsibilities

  • Engage and participate in leadership workshops covering topics such as: Mentorship, Professional
  • Interns must be available for the 9-week program from (June 2, 2025 - August 1, 2025)
  • Development, and Networking opportunities 
  • Assist KNA Desktop Operations Technical Support Analysts in their day to day activities-including box shipment program and inventory auditing
  • Perform Regular checks of multimedia equipment
  • Perform regular equipment set up, breakdown, and other physical equipment moves ( up to 50 lbs)
  • Interact with customers and stakeholders to perform on site and remote hardware/software break fix troubleshooting
  • Engage with KNA Desktop Operations Team Members in regular team meetings
  • Report to assigned post at assigned schedule
  • Provide on-site customer service for customer interactions such as equipment drop of and pick up
  • Provide updates of activities to management as requested

Minimum Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in Bachelor’s degree program
  • Active undergraduate student in their Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year
  • No years of experience required
  • Customer service, adaptability, time management, troubleshooting, technical support, data entry, problem solving, basic computer skills
