The Desktop Operations Intern will learn to provide exceptional customer service to Kaplan teams in a courteous, knowledgeable and timely manner. The intern supports the Desktop Operations team by providing timely, site-based technical assistance and hardware support. Proactively researches and resolves complex technical issues while ensuring the seamless installation and maintenance of personal computing technologies. ** Please note: This is a full time | paid ($15 hourly) | onsite internship in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The internship dates are: June 8th - August 7th ** In our 9-week, and paid program, interns can expect to work with a team of Kaplan employees on day-to-day functions and projects that contribute to company-wide business initiatives. While gaining comprehensive real world experience, interns will also engage through weekly small group meetings and workshops, designed around professional development, leadership, and direct networking with leaders across Kaplan. Primary/Key Responsibilities Engage and participate in leadership workshops covering topics such as: Mentorship, Professional Development, and Networking opportunities Interns must be available for the 9-week program from June 8, 2026 - August 7, 2026 Create and design and a “Kapstone” project that will have a direct impact on the business Interns must be available for the 9-week program from Assist KNA Desktop Operations Technical Support Analysts in their day to day activities-including box shipment program and inventory auditing Perform Regular checks of multimedia equipment Perform regular equipment set up, breakdown, and other physical equipment moves ( up to 50 lbs) Interact with customers and stakeholders to perform on site and remote hardware/software break fix troubleshooting Engage with KNA Desktop Operations Team Members in regular team meetings Report to assigned post at assigned schedule Provide on-site customer service for customer interactions such as equipment drop of and pick up Provide updates of activities to management as requested Minimum Qualifications Active undergraduate student in their Sophomore, Junior, or Senior year Demonstrated academic achievement Excellent written and verbal communication skills Enthusiastic and has a growth mindset, ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and priorities, adaptable, a critical thinker, organized and collaborative At Kaplan, we believe in attracting, rewarding, and retaining exceptional talent.
