Pre-Licensed Therapist, LPC

Daybreak Health is seeking a Remote Mental Health Therapist in Illinois to provide teletherapy services to students, focusing on family therapy with kids aged 5-11. This role offers flexible scheduling and free supervision to help therapists gain hours towards full licensure.

Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include delivering teletherapy, collaborating with school counselors, building relationships with families, and contributing to the development of clinical programs.

Responsibilities:

Skills: Candidates must have an active LPC license in Illinois, experience with telehealth and school-aged children, strong technological skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Qualifications: Preferred qualifications include fluency in additional languages (e.g., Spanish), experience with CBT/DBT, and previous experience working in a school setting or with youth.

• Providing evidence-based teletherapy to students and their families that work with Daybreak.
• Collaborating closely with school counselors and other relevant providers.
• Building trusted relationships with students and families.
• Providing psychoeducation and support to parents and caregivers.
• Participating in case consultations and clinical team discussions.
• Contributing to the on-going development of Daybreak Health’s clinical programs.

• Experience with telehealth and delivering care to school-aged children in a family therapy setting.
• Strong technological skills and familiarity with EHR systems.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work during peak hours (Mon-Fri during the afternoons and/or evenings). Weekend slots are also available.
