You will integrate healthcare data exchange standards, develop comprehensive terminology assets, and utilize technologies like AI and machine learning. Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate healthcare terminology data to identify trends and inconsistencies.

• Develop and maintain a comprehensive data dictionary with standard definitions, codes, and classifications.

• Build and manage value sets that map clinical concepts to standard terminologies (ICD-10, SNOMED CT, RxNorm, NDC, LOINC, CPT) to support interoperability.

• Design and implement data mapping and transformation processes for seamless integration of healthcare terminology data.

Innovation & Technical Collaboration

• Utilize machine learning (ML) and AI tools to automate and improve scalability in knowledge management and data quality processes.

Collaborate with engineering and IT teams to leverage healthcare data exchange standards (e.g., HL7, CCDA, FHIR).

  • Implement quality assurance measures to resolve data discrepancies and ensure data integrity.
  • Drive improvements in data integration processes for consistent data use across workflows.
  • Educate stakeholders on best practices in knowledge management, healthcare data standards, and informatics tools.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to execute informatics strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in healthcare terminologies and data management.

Requirements

Have 8–10+ years of experience in pharmacy informatics, clinical informatics, or related fields.

Demonstrate expertise in healthcare terminologies and classifications (e.g., ICD-10, RxNorm, SNOMED CT, LOINC, CPT).

Be proficient in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., SQL, Python, R).

Have experience with healthcare data exchange standards (e.g., HL7, CCDA, FHIR).

Possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail ensuring data accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.

Have excellent communication skills, capable of collaborating with diverse stakeholders and articulating technical concepts.

Be skilled in mentoring teams and driving innovation

Clinical training and licensure in pharmacy, medicine, or nursing. Additional certifications in informatics (e.g., CPHIMS) are highly desirable.
