Summary

Channel Onboarding Specialist at KnowBe4, the global leader in Human Risk Management, responsible for onboarding new channel partners and ensuring seamless integration into KnowBe4's partner ecosystem to support the company's mission of securing organizations against human-based cyberthreats.

Key Responsibilities: Manage the onboarding process for new channel partners, including training, technical setup, and partnership enablement. Serve as the primary point of contact for partner questions and ensure successful go-to-market activities.
Skills & Tools: Strong communication and relationship management abilities, technical product knowledge of cybersecurity solutions, project management capabilities, and ability to work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and technical teams. Proficiency in CRM systems and partner management platforms is preferred.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience in channel management, sales enablement, or business development. 2-3 years of experience in partner onboarding, channel operations, or related roles.
Location: Utrecht, Netherlands
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is €45,000 – €65,000/year based on title, seniority, and location.

As a Channel Onboarding Specialist, you are the first person that prospective partners engage with at KnowBe4 and you play an important role in ensuring partners have a positive experience with KnowBe4 from their initial interaction to onboarding. You will engage with partners to conduct deep discovery to understand their business model, walk them through KnowBe4 products and partner programs, set initial expectations and onboard the partner through the agreement process. The ideal candidate will also be able to effectively nurture and guide partners that are not yet a fit for the KnowBe4 partner program.

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the onboarding of new partners from initial discovery to agreement signing, ensuring a smooth and positive onboarding experience
  • Conduct deep partner discovery to understand a partner’s business model and guide the partner to the program that is suited to their model
  • Identify and qualify prospective partners who are a good fit for KnowBe4’s global partner program(s)
  • Provide prospective partners with a brief walkthrough of the market opportunity, KnowBe4 product suite and platform, and partner program aligned with their model
  • Set initial expectations with partners so that they understand rules of engagement, best practices and overall expectations of the partnership
  • Complete the partner discovery detail in Salesforce.com and understand where the partner falls in the overall stratification
  • Ensure partners meet all compliance requirements with partner agreements and assist them in the agreement process
  • Develop opportunities for the Channel sales team from prospecting and marketing generated leads
  • Respond, engage, and qualify inbound leads and inquiries
  • Develop and execute on a strong prospecting plan of attack, including email and call scripts
  • Ensure successful follow through of Partner sales cycle by maintaining accurate activity and lead qualification information in Salesforce.com
  • Provide in depth information to the Channel team to ensure a smooth onboarding hand-off takes place
  • Follow policy and procedure regarding following up on leads
  • Pass onboarded partners to the appropriate Channel team

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor’s Degree a plus
  • Familiarity with standard concepts, practices and procedures within the IT Security Field a plus
  • Experience with Channel a plus
  • Experience with Gmail and Google Docs
  • Experience with Salesforce preferred
  • Must be able to demonstrate sales aptitude working with channel partners
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Good computer skills
  • Friendly phone voice
  • “Pleasantly persistent” as it can take multiple tries to reach a prospect
  • Ability to leave an engaging message and sound interested
  • Must be highly organized and results-oriented
