About the Role
We are seeking an experienced RFP/Proposal Manager, with a personal drive to contribute to our growth. The successful candidate is a creative, analytical and ambitious individual with an excellent track record of winning business through RFPs, in SaaS or technology sectors. They will act as a regional subject matter expert for RFX procedures and will act as point of contact for our US-based Solutions Sales teams.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing identified opportunities with key business stakeholders.
- Evaluating the tender requirements and coordinate opportunity qualification with the bid team. Develop winning bid strategy, together with the commercial team.
- Conducting competitor analysis together with the bid team.
- Owning and leading the bid effort. Assembling and managing a cross-functional and international bid team, owning the process from bid qualification to contract signature.
- Managing bid planning to ensure all deadlines are met. Identifying and managing risks. Managing bid contributors such as the legal team, product managers and solution engineers. Driving and motivating the bid team.
- Creating high quality and compliant proposal text and coordinate the inputs of other subject matter experts.
- Managing proposal review process with relevant stakeholders. Ensure submission deadlines are met. Ensure the bid team adheres to established processes.
- Seeking to continuously improve processes. Contributing to the development of a bid-text library and champion re-use of standard bid text in proposals.
- Identifying and correcting areas of inefficiency in the proposal process.
- Contributing to the building of our best-in-class bid management team, through application of best practices in bid management and coach new team members.
Requirements
- Have a university degree with experience in RFPs (SaaS or technology sectors highly valued).
- Display exceptional data analytical skills and business acumen.
- Have a problem-solving attitude, are forward-looking, and can meet demanding deadlines.
- Have a track record in drafting proposals, with demonstrable win rates.
- Experience and knowledge of public sector procurement or a track record selling to public sector is highly valued.
- Able to act as a trusted advisor, working in close collaboration with colleagues in Product Management, Product Marketing, Business Development, Strategy, Operations, Legal and Sales, other internal stakeholders, business partners and clients.

Salary ranges will vary based on state, experience level and internal equity. Pay rates are required by law in some states and are reviewed case-by-case.
U.S. National Base Pay Range: $63,800 - $106,400. Geographic differentials may apply in some locations to better reflect local market rates. If performed in Ohio, the pay range is $60,600 - $101,100.
