Location: This position is based on-site at the EduKit warehouse in Colorado Springs, CO, necessitating adaptability to a warehouse environment.
Compensation: $14 - $16 / Hourly

Seasonal HR Assistant
Location: EduKit Warehouse – Colorado Springs, CO
Focus on the Family Campus (Briargate)
Schedule: Part-time Seasonal, May–September | Monday–Friday, 20+ hours per week (some flexibility based on production needs)
Benefits: Not eligible as seasonal employee
Pay Range: $14.81 – $16.00/hour, based on experience
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with onboarding and offboarding of seasonal and regular employees
- Review timesheets for 100+ employees, identify discrepancies, and follow up on missing or incorrect entries
- Support the Director of HR, Production Manager, and Operations Manager with daily administrative tasks if requested
- Prepare and distribute offer letters and onboarding documentation
- File, organize, and maintain confidential employee records in both physical and digital formats
- Ensure completion and compliance of onboarding forms such as I-9s, W-4s, and policy acknowledgments
- Respond to basic employee inquiries regarding time entry, schedules, or general HR policies
- Enter and update employee information in Gusto (our HRIS platform); assist in generating reports as needed
- Support interview coordination, track applicant flow, and help communicate with candidates when necessary
- Assist with internal communications, policy updates, and distributing materials to warehouse staff
- Help plan and set up team meetings, employee lunches, orientation sessions, and occasional recognition events
- Conduct employee orientation as a backup when needed
- Monitor supplies and maintain stock of HR forms and new hire materials
- Perform other HR or administrative duties as assigned to support department needs
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor’s degree in human resources, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field
- Previous office or HR experience is a plus
- Experience using Gusto or another HRIS/payroll system is highly desirable
- Must be able to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism

Work Environment
This role is based on site at our EduKit warehouse, which includes both office and warehouse environments. The ability to adapt to an active setting with varying temperatures and noise levels is essential.
