Summary

The Campus Marketing team leads campus marketing efforts, including management of part-time Student Brand Ambassadors, on campuses across North America. Program Specialists are responsible for engaging students and campus clubs and gatekeepers to increase Kaplan market share, drive sales, acquire leads, build relationships, and increase Kaplan’s visibility. Program Specialists leverage their Kaplan product expertise to support students, lead engaging campus events, and drive sales. They partner directly with students and key campus contacts to establish Kaplan as the preferred test prep provider.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Partner in the development and execution of a regional campus strategy that includes a focus on priority campuses, campus relationships, and includes relevant campus travel plans
  • Source and secure different opportunities for Kaplan to be present on campus to drive leads and sales
  • Travel to campus to support on-campus events and activities, including leading presentations, fairs, and more
  • Become a Kaplan product expert and leverage this expertise to build and lead engaging and dynamic on-campus and virtual presentations 
  • Create and manage a lead nurturing pipeline, and provide ongoing and relevant Kaplan course or event recommendations to students
  • Connect directly with students through sales consultations and capture student enrollments into Kaplan classes
  • Work alongside Campus Marketing team partners to research and secure new campus partnerships and develop existing relationships with student organizations
  • Collaborate with other Campus Marketing team members to inventory, order, and distribute campus collateral and merchandise
  • Monitor competitive activity on campus and provide recommendations and solutions to improve campus marketing efforts
  • Become an expert of your campuses and utilize this understanding of campus culture and audience to provide strategy recommendations and to drive leads and sales
  • Where applicable, establish, develop, and maintain relationships with key on-campus advisors, administrators, and other gatekeepers to establish Kaplan as the preferred test prep provider
  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field
  • 1+ year in at least one of the following: Sales experience/business development (particularly with college-aged students) and Teaching/Presentation experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior field marketing/business development experience 
  • Test Prep Industry Experience

For full-time positions, Kaplan has two Salary Grades, this position is Salary Grade A: $31,200 to $78,600. Actual compensation for this role is determined by several factors including but not limited to job level, candidate's skills, experience, and education, among other factors determined by the business.
