Summary

Lead product strategy and execution for Lumion's platform while managing ecosystem and partner initiatives. Drive revenue-generating features and scale strategic alliances that extend the company's reach in the educational technology and fintech space.

Key Responsibilities: Conduct product discovery, manage end-to-end feature delivery across agile sprints, and collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, compliance, and sales teams. Identify and negotiate strategic partnerships, develop integration roadmaps, and build partner enablement playbooks while tracking contribution to ARR and GMV.
Skills & Tools: Strong proficiency with analytics tools (SQL, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Looker) and deep understanding of ecosystem dynamics, platform strategy, and partnership models. Exceptional communication abilities and working knowledge of fintech compliance, API integration best practices, and network effects.
Qualifications: 5+ years of product management experience with significant focus on partnerships, platform strategy, or ecosystem development, and a proven track record of launching and scaling strategic partnerships that drive revenue and user growth. Working knowledge of fintech compliance (payments, lending) and experience with marketplace creation and high-growth environments preferred.

Position: Product Manager - Platform & Partnerships

About the Role: As Product Manager – Platform & Partnerships, you will drive core product strategy and execution across Lumion’s platform and own key ecosystem and partner initiatives.. You will work cross‑functionally with engineering, design, compliance, sales, and marketing to deliver delightful, compliant, and revenue‑generating features—while also sourcing and scaling strategic alliances that extend Lumion’s reach.

Key Responsibilities

Platform Product Management 

  • Product Discovery & Strategy – Conduct customer research, analyze market trends, and build data‑driven product roadmaps that advance business goals.
  • Product Execution & UX Design – Own end‑to‑end delivery: translate insights into wireframes and user stories, collaborate with engineering in agile sprints, and launch high‑impact features.
  • Cross‑Functional Collaboration – Partner with compliance and legal teams on fintech regulations; enable sales, marketing, and support for successful roll‑outs.
  • Ecosystem Strategy – Develop and maintain a roadmap of integration, channel, and strategic alliance partners that complement Lumion’s platform.
  • Partner Sourcing & Deal Making – Identify high‑impact partners, lead diligence and negotiations, and structure win‑win agreements.
  • Integration Leadership – Scope APIs, data flows, and joint features; manage timelines for partner‑led solutions.
  • Partner Enablement & Revenue Tracking – Build onboarding playbooks, co‑marketing plans, and monitor partner contribution to ARR/GMV.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of product management experience, with significant focus on partnerships, platform strategy, API products, business development, or ecosystem development.
  • Strong track record of successfully identifying, launching, and scaling strategic partnerships that demonstrably drive revenue, user growth, or commercial value.
  • Deep proficiency in using analytics tools (e.g., SQL, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Looker) to measure partnership impact and ecosystem health. Experience with CRM or partner management tools is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of ecosystem dynamics, platform strategy, various partnership models (e.g., referral, reseller, integration, co-marketing, technology alliances), API strategy, and network effects.
  • Working knowledge of fintech compliance (payments, lending) and API/integration best practices.
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Legal, and external partners.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Preferred Experience

  • Background in payments, lending, or other fintech products serving educational institutions.
  • Experience creating network effects, marketplaces, or platform business models.
  • Prior work in a high‑growth startup environment, juggling multiple priorities under tight timelines.
