Summary
Join CDW as a Security Operations Analyst to design, build, and maintain automation workflows that enhance cybersecurity operations and drive efficiency. You'll collaborate with experienced engineers using industry-standard SOAR platforms and scripting tools to strengthen security processes.
Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain automation playbooks and workflows using SOAR platforms, integrate security tools via REST APIs and scripting, participate in code reviews and version control, and document technical solutions for diverse audiences. Support troubleshooting, identify automation opportunities, and contribute to continuous improvement of automation solutions.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency in Python and Bash scripting, understanding of SOAR platforms and REST APIs, familiarity with software development best practices, version control (Git), and cloud platforms (AWS). Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work collaboratively in agile environments.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience with 2–3 years in IT, cybersecurity, or related roles. Basic understanding of SOAR platforms, scripting/programming experience, and knowledge of REST APIs and integration concepts required.
Location: Hybrid in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada
Compensation: CA$33 – CA$46/hour
