Location: The position is based at the Corporate Office in Dublin, United States.
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $70,000 - $110,000.

The Job Details are as follows:
The Experience Designer, Design Systems position will play a key role in supporting and maintaining our design system at OCLC. This position bridges design and development teams to ensure the consistent application of the design language across all products. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in Product Design, experience working on design system projects, and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams to drive effective implementation.

- Able to speak to your design decisions and answer the "why"
- Doesn't hesitate to use a dry-erase markers when the time is right
- Experience designing with established and evolving pattern library. Think in systems.
- Explore different way to solve problems while identifying pros and cons, questions and/or implications
- Highly competent using Figma and Miro software
- High proficiency creating UX deliverables such as wireframes, user flows, user journeys, sitemaps, personas, high fidelity designs, Figma prototypes, etc.
- Working knowledge of responsive design and related best practices
- Keeps current with design trends and best practices
- Comfortable engaging with internal and external customers, reflecting OCLC values
- Have experience moderating user testing
- Ability to design for accessibility, familiarity with WCAG 2.x
- Experience running ideation sessions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in responsive design, visual design or related field.
- 2+ years of experience with responsive design and related best practices as well as with designing enterprise web applications.
- 2+ years of experience creating UX deliverables such as wireframes, user flows, user journeys, sitemaps, personas, high fidelity designs, Figma prototypes, etc.
- Comfortable using design tools such as Figma, Sketch, etc.
What You'll Do:
- Connect key groups of people, Research, Experience, Business teams to deliver the work and socialize it
- Create detailed UI designs with accessibility in mind and collaborate with engineers to bring it to life.
- Collaborate with UXD researcher on research plan, stakeholder interviews, user interviews, etc.
- Conduct and moderate usability testing for your assigned projects.
