Job Description

At Instructure, we believe in the power of people to grow and succeed throughout their lives. Our goal is to amplify that power by creating intuitive products that simplify learning and personal development, facilitate meaningful relationships, and inspire people to go further in their education and careers.
We do this by giving smart, creative, passionate people opportunities to create awesome. And that's where you come in:

We’re looking for a Content Manager, GTM Intelligence who can turn complexity into clear, compelling narratives and take real ownership of how we show up to customers.

You’ll partner with product, strategy, and subject matter experts to articulate our value in a way that resonates, while leading GTM content across key initiatives. This role goes beyond content creation; it requires deep product knowledge and strong leadership through influence, driving alignment, setting direction, and ensuring every output meets a high bar for clarity, accuracy, and impact.

You’ll also help evolve how we work, using AI to scale content development while maintaining strong editorial judgment. We’re looking for someone who takes initiative, operates with pace, and brings both accountability and leadership to complex, fast-moving environments.

About the Role

  • Partner closely with subject matter experts to distill complex product, technical, and strategic information into clear, compelling, and externally ready content that answers prospect and customer questions with precision and confidence.

  • Shape and articulate differentiated value propositions that clearly position our products and services in the market, reinforcing what sets us apart and why it matters to customers.

  • Build and apply deep expertise across our products, offerings, and industry landscape, ensuring all content reflects current capabilities, customer needs, and market expectations.

  • Own end-to-end content development and review cycles, coordinating input from cross-functional stakeholders to deliver accurate, aligned, and high-impact outputs at scale.

  • Act as a content lead within cross-functional initiatives, guiding stakeholders, influencing direction, and driving alignment to ensure content quality, clarity, and consistency across all outputs.

  • Leverage AI tools and technologies to accelerate content creation, enhance quality, and drive consistency, while applying strong editorial judgment to ensure outputs remain accurate, on-brand, and customer-relevant.

  • Continuously identify opportunities to integrate AI into workflows, improving efficiency, scalability, and insight generation across the content lifecycle.

  • Operate with pace and precision to meet product release timelines and go-to-market priorities.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

  • 7+ years of experience in a related role/roles with similar scope and responsibility.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead through influence—guiding stakeholders, driving alignment, and elevating outcomes without formal authority.

  • Proven experience managing complex projects and navigating multiple stakeholders, balancing competing priorities while maintaining quality.

  • Experience using AI tools (e.g., generative AI, content automation, research augmentation) to enhance content development and workflows.

  • Strong critical thinking and sound judgment, with the ability to make independent, professional decisions in ambiguous or fast-moving situations.

  • Proven problem-solving capability, with a track record of resolving complex challenges and driving outcomes.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complexity into clear, persuasive narratives.

  • Strong research and analytical skills, with a structured approach to gathering and synthesising information.

  • High attention to detail and a commitment to producing polished, high-quality work.

  • Comfort working independently and asynchronously, while collaborating effectively across a global, cross-functional team.

  • Experience in SaaS or a similar technology environment is highly valued.
