Summary

What You’ll Do

As an on-site school-based therapist, you will:

  • Deliver evidence-based therapy to K–12 students.
  • Collaborate with school staff, counselors, and community partners.
  • Build trusted relationships with students and their families.
  • Provide psychoeducation and support to parents and caregivers.
  • Participate in case consultations and clinical team meetings.
  • Contribute feedback to strengthen Daybreak’s clinical programs.

What We’re Looking For

Required Qualifications:

  • Active California license (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) or associate-level license (ASW, AMFT, APCC)
  • Spanish fluency required
  • Experience working with school-aged children or adolescents
  • Technological proficiency and comfort with EHR platforms
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Availability during key school hours (typically Mon–Fri, 3–8 PM PT)

Preferred:

  • Experience with CBT, DBT, or similar evidence-based practices
  • Background in school-based or youth-centered environments
  • Active NPI and CAQH profile
