Summary

Vice President to lead the establishment and management of a new Head Start delegate site in the Northeast Region, overseeing operations for 150+ staff serving 400+ children from birth to age five.

Acelero Learning is seeking a dynamic Vice President to spearhead the opening and oversight of a new delegate within our growing Acelero Learning network, located in the Northeast Region, with priority interest in candidates from the Tri-State area. Your Role:

As Vice President of Head Start Operations in the Northeast Region, you will lead a delegate site serving children and families from birth to age five. This includes:

Establishing all aspects of program operations, staffing, and systems from the ground up

  • Leading a growing team expected to exceed 150 staff and serve over 400 children
  • Ensuring full regulatory compliance and alignment with Head Start Performance Standards
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with local, state, and regional stakeholders
  • Driving performance, innovation, and impact while creating a culture of excellence
  • Collaborating with cross-functional support teams across the Acelero Learning network

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred (ideally in business, education, or related field)
  • At least 5 years of senior leadership experience in a complex, multi-site organization
  • Experience with Head Start or similar family-centered programming is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated experience building or significantly scaling programs
  • Strong background in compliance, staff leadership, and operational execution
  • Ability to develop and lead high-performing teams

When/Where/How Much:

  • When: Expected start in Fall 2025
  • Where: Based in the Northeast Region, with priority interest in candidates from the Tri-state area. This is an on-site position. Travel required up to 30%.
  • How Much: The salary range for this position is $135,000 – $150,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
