General Job Description: 

Assessment Consultants work in conjunction with Sales Support, Product Development, Marketing and Customer Service to promote assessments and intervention resources to a range of clinical and educational establishments across the US. 

 Their role is to service key accounts through training on key products, building and maintaining positive relationships, maximizing revenue, and pursuing qualified leads in order to deliver area revenue targets. In conjunction with the Assessment Consultant Manager they will set and deliver Regional Sales Plans and will identify and pursue opportunities based on analysis of sales data.

 They will establish and develop relationships with key influencers within the educational markets for WPS.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Delivery of revenue to pre-set targets.
  • Area planning and forecasting 
  • Manage all customers working within the designated region to maximize sales. 
  • Develop product knowledge, own understanding of relevant working practices and keep abreast of current legislation in order to meet customer needs
  • Attend key conventions and present trainings on WPS assessments.
  • Submit detailed and timely market feedback reports supported by up-to-date market knowledge and sales analysis
  • Utilize NetSuite and HubSpot effectively for sales planning and customer communications and follow up with all leads and prospects 
  • Maintain integrity and professional behavior at all times as the face of WPS. Be mindful of the WPS core values and represent those well in all daily work

Position Requirements (Skills, Knowledge, Abilities):

  • Relevant professional qualification (minimum master’s level)
  • Experience with administering and interpreting psychometric assessments
  • Knowledge of clinical or school market desired.
  • An understanding of the needs of our customer base (School Psychologists, Speech and Language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists and Clinical Psychologists) is advantageous
  • Basic computer skills including familiarity with Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.

Preferred, but not required: 

  • At least five years of experience with administering and interpreting psychometric assessments
