Role Snapshot
A Family Advocate position with Acelero, Inc. dedicated to empowering families and enhancing children's early development through supportive resources and advocacy in a Head Start program. The role directly impacts strengthening parent-child relationships and promoting school readiness in low-income diverse communities.
Skills & Tools: Experience in social work, family services, or related fields with strong ability to advocate for families in need. Excellent interpersonal skills, cultural responsiveness, and commitment to community-based work with diverse populations.
Qualifications: Associate or bachelor's degree in social work, human services, family services, counseling, or related field preferred; alternatively, an AA/BA with commitment to complete Family Services Certificate within 18 months. Relevant experience in family development or related fields valued.
Location: East Biloxi, Mississippi
Compensation: $19/hr
