This is an in-office position in McLean, Virginia.
About the Opportunity:
- Shadow members of the Accounting department as they perform their duties
- Assist with research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete financial records
- Prepare financial reports, such as balance sheets and income statements, invoices, and other documents
- Work with bookkeeping software
- Learn how to work as part of the Accounting team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company or clients
- Take on additional tasks or projects to learn more about Accounting and general office operations
- Intern will work on Expensify project and year-end related tasks
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from an Accounting degree program or related fields
- Basic understanding of accounting and financial principles
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Proficient in computer applications
- High level of efficiency, accuracy, and responsibility.
- Effective organizational skills with the ability to perform multi-tasks
- Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly
