Summary

The Events Specialist executes in-person, virtual, and hybrid events that drive business growth, pipeline generation, and customer engagement. This role bridges strategy and execution to deliver measurable outcomes aligned with marketing and sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities: Plan and execute regional, partner, and VIP events from logistics through on-site delivery, managing venues, vendors, registration, and travel. Support omni-channel promotion, virtual/hybrid technical coordination, lead tracking in Salesforce, post-event reporting, and vendor relationship management.
Skills & Tools: Strong organizational and project management skills with proficiency in CRM platforms (Salesforce), marketing automation tools, event management systems, and Google Sheets. Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with demonstrated experience managing multiple concurrent projects and timelines.
Qualifications: 3+ years of event coordination, marketing, or campaign operations experience with demonstrated expertise in supporting both in-person and virtual events. Must have strong administrative and technical proficiency with willingness to travel.
Location: Remote, USA (preference for Eastern time zone)
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is $55,000 – $75,000/year based on title, seniority, and location.

Role Summary

At Everway, events are growth engines that drive connection, engagement, and measurable business outcomes. The Events Specialist plays a key role in executing in-person, virtual, and hybrid events that extend our brand, generate pipeline, and strengthen customer relationships.

This role focuses on turning strategy into execution, ensuring every event supports marketing and sales goals and delivers a strong attendee experience.

Preference will be given to candidates in the Eastern time zone.

Main Responsibilities

Event Execution & Logistics

  • Execute regional, partner, and VIP events from planning through on-site delivery
  • Manage logistics including venues, vendors, registration, shipping, travel, and on-site coordination
  • Maintain event timelines, project plans, and budgets
  • Partner with creative and marketing teams to produce event assets and materials

Digital Promotion & Engagement

  • Support omni-channel event campaigns across email, social, web, and paid channels
  • Manage registration systems, landing pages, and tracking for lead attribution
  • Coordinate logistics and technical execution for virtual and hybrid events

Sales & Marketing Alignment

  • Partner with sales on event goals, target audiences, and follow-up plans
  • Coordinate attendee lists, pre-event outreach, and post-event lead handoff
  • Support sales teams with event materials and logistics for trade shows and conferences

Post-Event Reporting & Follow-Up

  • Ensure attendee and lead data is accurately captured in Salesforce for follow-up
  • Support post-event communications and nurture campaigns
  • Work closely with SDR team to ensure rapid, consistent follow-up on event-generated leads
  • Track and report on event performance metrics including attendance, engagement, and pipeline impact
  • Identify opportunities to improve event processes and ROI

Vendor & Budget Management

  • Manage vendor relationships, quotes, and deliverables
  • Track event spend, reconcile invoices, and maintain budget accuracy
  • Identify opportunities to optimize costs and improve efficiency

Essential Criteria

  • 3+ years of experience in event coordination, marketing, or campaign operations
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience managing multiple projects and timelines simultaneously
  • Experience supporting in-person and virtual events
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing systems (e.g., Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, event platforms)
  • Strong administrative and technical proficiency, including experience with Google Sheets
  • Demonstrated communication and collaboration skills
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience working in a B2B or SaaS environment
  • Experience supporting sales pipeline or lead generation events
  • Experience with event marketing campaigns and digital promotion
  • Budget tracking and vendor negotiation experience
  • Experience with reporting on event performance and ROI
