Summary

Sales Support Specialist at Amplify Education provides essential administrative support to the sales team by managing quotes, pipeline data, and client communications in a remote environment. The role is critical to supporting the sales cycle and ensuring smooth operations across the sales organization.

Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with sales teams to create accurate price quotes compliant with company policies, manage CRM pipeline data for efficiency, and provide remote client support. Handle administrative needs, resolve sales team issues promptly, and serve as liaison between Sales, Product, and Marketing teams.
Skills & Tools: Proficiency with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce), strong customer service background, excellent organizational and detail-oriented abilities, and proficiency with Google Suite and Macintosh systems preferred. Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment and maintain accurate documentation.
Qualifications: BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience with 1-3 years in a related field and 1+ years of CRM experience. Preferred qualification includes 3+ years of professional experience in the K-12 education space.
Location: Remote, United States; occasional travel required (2-4 times per year)
Compensation: $56,000 – $59,000/year

The Sales Support Specialist plays a key role in supporting the sales team by addressing their administrative needs and ensuring smooth operations throughout the sales cycle. This individual will work closely with Account Executives to build quotes, manage pipeline data, provide remote client support, and serve as a liaison between Sales, Product, and Marketing teams. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, detail-oriented, organized, and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment. This position reports to the Manager of Sales Support.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the sales team to understand customer needs and create accurate price quotes that align with those needs.
  • Ensure that all quotes comply with company policies, guidelines, and pricing standards.
  • Secure approval for any exceptions at various stages of the sales process.
  • Provide proactive support to the sales team, answering questions and resolving issues promptly.
  • Assist with pipeline management and system maintenance to ensure data accuracy and efficient workflow.
  • Offer remote, client-focused support as required, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Work effectively within a team, sharing responsibilities and collaborating on projects.
  • Handle additional related projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 1-3 years of work experience in a related field.
  • 1+ years of experience with CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.com (Salesforce advanced training is a plus).
  • Proven experience providing excellent customer service.
  • Strong ability to maintain accurate records and documentation of business information.
  • Ability to travel periodically (2-4 times a year for in-person meetings).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency with Google Suite.
  • Proficiency with Macintosh operating systems and basic keyboard commands
  • 3+ years of professional work experience in the K-12 education space
  • Interest in self-improvement through industry research, training, and experience to enhance product and market knowledge.

What we offer:

Salary is only one component of the Amplify Total Rewards package, which includes a 401(k) plan, stock options, competitive health insurance and mental health options, basic life insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and access to best-in-class development programs. The gross salary range for this role is $56,000 - $59,000. This role is eligible for commissions based pay.
