April Class
We have an immediate opportunity starting in April 2026, teaching K-2nd graders on Tuesdays in southeast DC! We're also always looking for new instructors for our network for all kinds of classes -- read on to learn more.
What You'll Do
As a member of our network, you will be matched with opportunities to teach soccer to K-12 students at schools, buildings, and communities across DC. These teaching opportunities will be for terms that could last anywhere from 6 weeks to 18 weeks.
As an after school instructor, you'll have the following responsibilities:
- Conceive of and create an age-appropriate curriculum for your class
- Create memorable experience for the children in your class to help them grow and develop a passion for soccer
- Consistently arrive at your class on time (or early!), prepared with the lesson plan for the day
- Help children understand why soccer is so wonderful and how it's helped shape you as a person
- Togetherhood instructors earn $80 - $120 for each one hour class
