Summary

Location: US-Remote
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is $65,000 – $95,000/year (prorated for 20 hours/week) based on title, seniority, and location.

Job Description

The American Institutes for Research (AIR) is seeking a Physics Content Expert to provide short-term support for development, review, and quality assurance of MCAT physics content. This is a part time (up to approximately 20 hours per week) remote position. The Independent Consultant must be available for coordination with a U.S.-based team.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or PhD in Physics or a closely related field.
  • Experience teaching, developing, or reviewing physics content at the undergraduate level.
  • Strong attention to detail and consistency with structured editorial workflows.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with scientific editors across disciplines.
