Summary

The National Solutions Director will serve as a strategic liaison between Edmentum and key education stakeholders, driving pre-sales strategies and managing implementations for strategic accounts and priority states. This role focuses on building C-suite relationships and identifying solutions that align with client needs across the K-12 education landscape.

Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with Sales and Strategic Partnerships teams to develop pre-sales strategies for strategic accounts; engage with ongoing implementations to drive retention, cross-selling, and upselling; maintain C-suite relationships and deliver regular status updates on account health. Support execution of national conferences, large-scale events, and strategic initiatives while addressing organizational development challenges.
Skills & Tools: Expert-level knowledge of K-12 education and workforce development landscape, policy, and stakeholder dynamics; strong data analysis and decision-making abilities; exceptional leadership, team-building, and change management skills with focus on inclusion and cross-functional collaboration. Must demonstrate ability to manage complex relationships with government, nonprofit, and philanthropic leaders.
Qualifications: 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in strategic roles within K-12 education or workforce development with deep industry knowledge; proven track record engaging and collaborating with C-suite leaders across strategic accounts, government, and nonprofit organizations. Willingness to travel up to 50%.
Location: United States (Florida-based position with national scope)
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation for this role is $120,000 – $160,000/year based on title, seniority, and location.

Job Description

WHAT IS THE POSITION

The National Solutions Director will support and engage with key stakeholders, partners, and prospective partners at the strategic account and state levels to identify Edmentum’s best-fit solutions. This role focuses on building, maintaining, and deepening strategic implementations through internal and external consultation.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Collaborate with the Strategic Partnerships and External Affairs team, along with Sales, to develop and execute pre-sales strategies for strategic accounts and key states.
  • Support Sales teams in delivering presentations and solutions for strategic accounts and state-level opportunities.
  • Regularly engage with ongoing implementations in strategic accounts and Priority states, driving strategies for retention, cross-selling, and upselling.
  • Maintain C-suite relationships with partners and prospects to drive desired outcomes.
  • Deliver regular status updates to the Strategic Partnerships and External Affairs team on the health of strategic account implementations, identifying resources to support district-level initiatives.
  • Contribute to short- and long-term strategic and operational planning within the organization.
  • Support the execution of Edmentum’s goals at large national conferences and through partnerships with strategic organizations.
  • Address organizational development challenges to enhance mission effectiveness.
  • Support large-scale Edmentum-sponsored events and strategic initiatives involving strategic accounts and Priority state leaders. 

WHAT IS REQUIRED

  • 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in strategic roles within K-12 education or workforce development, with in-depth knowledge of industry trends, research, and state-specific requirements.
  • Strong understanding of the K-12 education and workforce development landscape at both state and national levels, including stakeholders, policy, programs, and resources.
  • Proven experience engaging and collaborating with C-suite leaders in strategic accounts, government, non-profit organizations, and philanthropic foundations.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze client data, make data-driven decisions, and identify implementation issues with confidence.
  • Superior leadership, team-building, and change management skills, with a focus on fostering a culture of inclusion and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to travel up to 50%.
